Upgrades

Upgrade Paths

The technology in modern combustion systems is a far cry from what was available even 5 years ago. Thermal efficiency techniques have impacted on the performance of combustion systems both through the actual firing mechanisms and the electrical control systems. Better efficiency means less energy and the financial benefits can be enough to justify a combustion system upgrade, especially for older equipment or for systems that are beginning to present a series of maintenance issues.

Energy comes third on the list of overheads for many companies. That means that keeping it under control or reducing it protects the bottom line. your furnaces, kilns and ovens are probably the largest consumers.

Energy is categorized into the following compartments

1.       Fuel consumption – Application and system based and the correct method of mixture and proper application technique, correct ratio and energy speed will increase flame temperature, reduce emissions, and increase product exposure and reduce fuel cost.

2.       Energy Loss – Energy loss is the only consideration that cannot be eliminated, but modern techniques and application knowledge, experience, operational conditions, environment, old technology – equipment – techniques can be minimized to achieve maximum energy use and reduce loss

3.       Product – Production is the reason that energy is required, and every product has a different requirement. However, production rate exposure and even furnace designs can be improved in order to obtain the overall efficiency of the system.

At EMC we provide a range of application, system, and combustion system upgrades to improve your energy efficiency and reduce the cost of running your kilns, furnaces, and ovens

Sometimes investing in new equipment is not required in order to achieve optimum efficiency and sustainability. It is often small and simple changes to your existing combustion plant that effectively ensure increased efficiency. Specifically relates to operational, electric, fuel and energy loss savings up to 40% and the environment also benefits from these reduced emissions

Benefits of upgrading your combustion system

Wear and tear over time, challenging operating environments or inadequate maintenance eventually degrade the efficiency of a combustion system. Replacing components almost always results in increased fuel efficiency, cleaner running and greater reliability. Complete upgrades guarantee them and significantly prolongs the life of your furnace, kiln or oven giving you greater control as well as n reduction in operational cost.

Servicing

Our attention is focused on the entire life cycle of your combustion plant. For service solutions that will exceed your expectations and that are aligned to the unique character and specific features of your plant.

Regardless of the phase at which you need our assistance – a common thread through all our service is the responsibility that we assume at all times when we stand by your side.

When we service your plant, our focus is on making sure that you receive the greatest possible benefit. That is the motivation behind our mission to optimize your commercial and ecological requirements as well as the safety of your plant.

As your partner, we will do everything we can to make sure that your firing plant is profitable in every aspect

  • Analysis of problem / equipment restricting capacity

Ø  Preventing of unscheduled downtimes

  • Identification of precise maintenance and optimization potential

Ø  Targeted measures to increase efficiency

  • Analysis and resolution of weak points as part of audits

Ø  Fewer and shorter downtimes during maintenance and breakdowns

Quality is characterized by more than flawless material. Quality is the result of the uncompromising interaction of all factors.

With EMC as your service provider, EMC will record every component and their operational condition for historical reference to project possible failures and life expectancy to minimize breakdowns and unplanned stoppages, also setup ratio and control efficiency and report any operational or environmental changes or concerns.

EMC does not accept that component exchange is the solution for a breakdown but rather conduct and conclude the root cause of the failure and propose a solution to prevent that breakdown from occurring again.

The importance of maintaining plants and systems for production and heat generation to the highest standard can not be underestimated. Ultimately, the reliable condition and efficient performance of the equipment is the basis for smooth execution of all industrial processes and extends the service life of your plant

Characterised by decades of engineering know-how, extensive system knowledge and a progressive technical mind-set.
